A written referral is required by Medicare from your general practitioner when a consultation is about a general dermatology condition.

You can see a dermatologist without a referral but you will not be able to claim the Medicare rebate

There may be a cancellation fee if you cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours notice.

All new patients to the clinic are required to email their referral prior to attending their appointment.
