Vascular Laser

VBeam Prima is the gold standard for Rosacea treatment. 

The VBeam Prima is a pulsed dye laser with dual wavelengths. This laser delivers an intense but gentle burst of light into selectively targeted areas. It uses 595nm and 1064nm wavelengths to target blood vessels as well as blue veins, venous lakes and wrinkles. 

The VBeam can be used to treat:

  • Facial erythema 
  • Facial telangiectasia (veins) 
  • Nasal telangiectasia 
  • Wrinkles 
  • Poikiloderma – sun damage to the neck, face and cheeks. 
  • Acne scars 
  • Inflammatory acne 
  • Striae (stretch marks) 
  • Port Wine stains 
  • Spider neavus (angioma) 
  • Scars – surgical and trauma scars. 
  • Cherry angioma and haemangiomas 
  • Venous lake 
  • Leg veins 


What to expect

There may be some redness or mild swelling in the treated area immediately following treatment and this usually goes away in a few hours (in rare cases it may last a few days). 

Bruising may occasionally occur, but this is transient and usually disappears in 5 to 10 days. 

Swelling – this can last a few hours and up to a few days. 

Avoid sun exposure immediately post treatment, use of a sunblock with a high SPF is recommended.
